Section 1. - Statement of intent.#

Neighborhood Business District C-2 is established to meet the day-to-day convenience shopping and service needs of persons residing in adjacent residential areas.

Section 2. - Permitted uses.#

In district C-2, no building or land shall be used, nor any building or structure erected, which is arranged or designed to be used for other than one or more of the following uses:

(2-1) Any use permitted in district C-1.

(2-2) Retail business concerns which supply commodities on the premises for persons residing in adjacent residential areas such as, but not limited to: Groceries, meats, dairy products, baked goods or other foods, drugs, dry goods, clothing and notions or hardware, service stations and restaurants.

(2-3) Personal service establishments which perform services on the premises such as, but not limited to: Repair shops (watches, radio, television, shoe and etc.), tailor shops, beauty parlors or barbershops, photographic studios and self-service laundries.

(2-4) Dry cleaning establishments dealing directly with the consumer. Central dry cleaning plants serving more than one retail outlet shall be prohibited.

(2-5) Business establishments which perform services on the premises, such as, but not limited to: Banks, financial offices, insurance offices and real estate.

(2-6) Professional services including the following: Medical clinics (outpatient only) and offices of doctors and dentists.

(2-7) Public utilities subject to the provisions of article XVI, section (3-5).

Section 3. - Sign regulations.#

Sign regulations shall conform to article XV of this ordinance.

Section 4. - General area, frontage, setback and yard regulations.#

These regulations shall conform to the provisions established in article VIII, section 4, or ten feet from the property line, whichever is greater.

Section 5. - Height regulations.#

Height regulations shall conform to the provisions established in article VIII, section 5.

Section 6. - Parking standards.#

Parking standards shall conform to article XIV of this ordinance.
