3.08.010 - Fund established.
Pursuant to the Highway Users Tax Fund Law of the state of California, and more particularly section 2113 of the Streets and Highways Code, there is created within the city a fund to be known as the "Special Gas Tax Street Improvement Fund" for the purpose of receiving and expending moneys received pursuant to the Highway Users Tax Fund Law.

3.08.020 - Successor to earlier fund.
The fund created by Section 3.08.010 shall be deemed a successor without interruption of the fund of the same name created by Ordinance No. 52B, repealed by the ordinance codified in this chapter. The purpose of this chapter is to revise the reference to the applicable statutory requirement for such fund, and nothing in this chapter shall be deemed to affect the receipt or expenditure of funds received from the Highway Users Tax Fund.
