Signage
- Sign abandonment period24 months
A sign shall be considered abandoned if the business for which the sign was erected has not been in operation for a period of at least two years.
- Sign destruction threshold
A nonconforming sign is 'destroyed' if damaged to the extent that the cost of repairing the sign to its former stature equals or exceeds the value of the sign so damaged.
From the ordinance
A nonconforming sign destroyed by acts of God may not be repaired except in conformity. Abandoned signs must be removed.
