• ADA compliance for public properties

  Under the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990, all properties open to the public must be accessible to the disabled.

• Archaeological study required for excavation

  Any excavation, including grading, shall require archaeological study, conducted according to the Virginia Department of Historic Resources Survey Guidelines.

• Compliance with Secretary of Interior's Standards

  The preservation, rehabilitation, or restoration of an existing building or reconstruction of a new building shall comply with the Secretary of the Interior's Standards for the Treatment of Historic Properties.

• Heritage sites listed on Cultural Resource Inventory

  All heritage sites identified within HI districts shall be listed on the Stafford County Cultural Resource Inventory.
