No tank, can, drum or other vessel containing any of the hydrocarbon liquids mentioned in this ordinance and having a capacity of five gallons or more shall be located nearer than 20 feet from any furnace, stove or fire of any kind.
- Underground storage tank permit required
On written permission of the Fire Marshal, it shall be lawful to keep or store any of the hydrocarbon liquids mentioned in Section 8.36.010, in quantities of more than five gallons, in which case they shall be kept or stored in a tank constructed in accordance with this code and NFPA 30.
