From the ordinance
"Dwelling" or "dwelling unit" means one or more habitable rooms that are designed and/or used as independent living space for one family, with facilities for living, eating and sleeping, with no more than one kitchen (except that two kitchens are allowed where the habitable floor area of the dwelling is 8,000 square feet or larger), and at least one bathroom, and where all such habitable areas have access to each other from within the building.
