Height

  • Exemption for structures 35 ft or less35 ft

    Any structure or vegetation of a height which is thirty-five (35) feet or less above the surface of the land, except for towers, is exempt from height limitations.

  • Exemption for towers 20 ft or less20 ft

    Any tower which is of a height which is twenty (20) feet or less above the surface of the land is exempt.

  • No structure shall be erected, altered, or maintained, and no vegetation shall be allowed to grow, so as to penetrate any referenced surface of the Part 77.13 Zone, the Precision Instrument Runway Approach Zone, or the Transitional Zone.

Other

  • No bird strike hazards

    No use may create the potential for bird strike hazards.

  • No electrical interference

    No use may be made of land or water within any zone so as to create electrical or other interference with navigational signals or radio communication between the airport and aircraft.

  • No glare

    No use may result in glare in the eyes of flyers using the airport.

  • Nonconforming uses or obstructions which are determined by the FAA to be a hazard to air navigation shall not be permitted. Mitigation procedures may be required.
