General provisions

Sec. 5-6062 standards

Off-premises signs shall only be permitted in commercial or industrial districts. Such signs shall be limited in area to no more than 288 square feet.

Sec. 5-6065 standards

Except as otherwise allowed by this ordinance, off-premises signs shall be require a conditional use permit in accordance with section 1-502 and shall comply with the following requirements: 1. Off-premises signs shall only be permitted in commercial or industrial districts. 2. Such signs shall be limited in area to no more than 288 square feet. 3. Digital display, or rotating or any other displays that change messages shall be prohibited. 4. All lighting of off-premises signs shall be located, oriented, or shielded so as not to spill light on adjoining properties or public roads.

Sec. 5-7003 standards

The intensity at adjoining streets or residential properties shall not exceed 0.5 foot candles. No lighting fixture pole shall exceed a height of 15 feet in an R-1 or R-2 Residence District or 30 feet in a B-1 or B-2 Local Business District.

Sec. 5-7003 standards

The following exterior lighting standards shall apply to all uses and developments requiring a site development plan pursuant to section 5-205 of this ordinance. 1. All exterior lighting fixtures shall be designed, located and arranged so as not to direct glare on adjoining streets or residential properties. The intensity at adjoining streets or residential properties shall not exceed 0.5 foot candles. B. No lighting fixture pole shall exceed a height of 15 feet in an R-1 or R-2 Residence District or 30 feet in a B-1 or B-2 Local Business District.

Sec. B and C (Temporary emergency housing)4 standards

Temporary emergency housing may be placed on property when a disaster has been declared... The period for temporary placement of such structures shall be no more than 12 months...

Section 4-204 (Accessory uses general)10 standards

For purpose of interpreting this section; 1. A use may be regarded as incidental or insubstantial if it is incidental or insubstantial in and of itself or in relation to the principal use.

Section 51 standards

When adjoining a R-1 or R-2 Residence District, a Type C buffer yard in accordance with section 5-400 shall be provided along the property line which adjoins the residential district.
