Article VI, Section 6-1003 standards

Article VI, Section 6-2002 standards

The front building line shall be set back not less than 20 feet from the front lot line for all uses. The minimum side yard shall be 12 feet. The minimum rear yard shall be 12 feet. No more than 30 percent of any lot, parcel or tract of land shall be covered by building. 25 percent of any lot, parcel or tract of land shall be provided as open and usable space. Article VI, Section 6-3004 standards

Article X - Board of Architectural Review8 standards

No application for a certificate of appropriateness or a permit to move, remove, capsulate or demolish in whole or in part in the Old and Historic Alexandria District, the Parker-Gray District or on the 100 year old buildings list shall be considered unless and until the secretary to the board of architectural review has given notice of the proposed hearing before the board according to the provisions of section 11-300.

Article X, 100 Year Old Building List6 standards

No building or structure subject to the provisions of section 10-300 shall be reconstructed, altered or restored unless and until an application for a certificate of appropriateness shall have been approved by the board of architectural review or the city council on appeal as to exterior architectural features which are subject to public view from a public street, way or place.
