Section 3.14.61 standards

The Board of Zoning Appeals shall hold a public hearing within ninety (90) days of the date of acceptance of the completed application.

Section 3.14.7.A1 standards

The Board of Zoning Appeals shall render a decision on the appeal within thirty (30) days of the conclusion of the public hearing.

Section 3.14.91 standards

Any person aggrieved by a decision of the Board of Zoning Appeals may appeal said decision to the Circuit Court within thirty (30) days from the date of the Board’s decision.

Section 3.15.11 standards

In accordance with Section 15.2-2301 of the Code of Virginia, 1950, as amended, the Town Council shall be authorized to hear and decide appeals where it is alleged there is an error in any decision of the Zoning Administrator or any order, requirement, decision or determination made by an administrative official in the administration or enforcement of approved proffers associated with a zoning map amendment.

Section 3.15.3.C1 standards

Appeals shall be filed within thirty (30) days from the date of the decision for which review is sought and shall specify the grounds upon which the petitioner is aggrieved.

Each application for a zoning permit shall be accompanied by a scaled drawing(s) which: 1. Depicts the shape and dimensions of the lot to be built upon or to be changed in its use, in whole or in part; and 2. The location of any building or structure to be erected or altered; and 3. The existing and intended use of each building or structure or part thereof; and 4. Floorplans to verify compliance with applicable requirements of this Ordinance; and 5. The number of families or housekeeping units the building is designed to accommodate; and 6. When no buildings are involved, the location of the present use and proposed use to be made of the lot.

Section 3.7.41 standards

All dimensions shown on these plans relating to the location and size of the lot to be built upon shall be based on actual survey. The lot and location of the building thereon shall be staked out on the ground before construction is started.

Section 3.7.51 standards

A copy of the approved site plan may be substituted for the plans required above. The site plan case number must be indicated on the permit along with a copy of the plan approval letter issued by the staff project planner.

Section 3.7.61 standards

No zoning permit shall be issued where the structure to be constructed or the use contemplated would be in violation of the provisions of this Zoning Ordinance or any other applicable Town law, ordinance or regulation.

Section 3.7.71 standards

Upon receipt, a zoning permit shall be posted in a prominent place on the premises during the period of construction, reconstruction, enlargement or moving.

Section 3.7.91 standards

Zoning permits shall be issued or denied within ten (10) business days of application.

A zoning permit shall expire and become void if the authorized work is not commenced within one (1) year of the date of issuance. The Zoning Administrator may, upon good cause shown, extend a permit with or without charge for an additional period not exceeding one (1) year.
