Sec. 40.2-307(J)(3)(e)6 standards

Off-premises signs and outdoor advertising signs (attached and freestanding) are permitted only in the IL and IN districts after a Use Permit for the sign has been approved by the City Council in accordance with Sec. 40.2-533 Use Permits.

In the D1 district, a sign shall not be constructed of unfinished materials, highly reflective materials, or plastic. In the D1 district, only one projecting sign is permitted per storefront. In the D1 district, a wall sign shall not obscure moldings or transoms. No off-street parking or loading facility shall be required for those properties zoned D1 T4, D1 T5 or D1 T6 and which are located downtown, north of Interstate 264.

Sec. 40.2-3082 standards

The following developments shall set-aside ten percent of the total development site area for open space: (a) Three- to four-family residential development; (b) Multi-family residential development; and (c) Mixed-use development.

Sec. 40.2-4023 standards

A nonconforming use may continue, but shall not be enlarged or extended except as provided. Discontinuance for more than two years terminates nonconforming status.

A nonconforming structure may continue, but shall not be enlarged or extended except as provided. Restoration after damage must comply with time limits and cost thresholds.

Sec. 40.2-4042 standards

A nonconforming lot may be used as though it satisfies the zoning regulation that makes it nonconforming, provided the use complies with other regulations.

Sec. 40.2-4052 standards

A nonconforming sign destroyed by acts of God may not be repaired except in conformity. Abandoned signs must be removed.

Sec. 40.2-4062 standards

Replacement of nonconforming manufactured homes is permitted under certain conditions.

Sec. 40.2-533(C)(3)(a)1 standards
